Home-made bread


  • 1 kg finely ground flour
  • 6 whole eggs
  • 60 g sugar
  • 40 g fresh yeast
  • 12 g salt
  • 400 g Zelene Doline butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100 ml lukewarm Zelene Doline milk


Knead all the ingredients into dough and, towards the end, gradually add softened Zelene Doline butter and the yolks. Allow the dough to rise until it had doubled in size. Roll out the dough, fold it in half, roll out again and fold over again to give it many layers. Form into small loaves, cover and leave them to rise for 30 minutes more, then glaze with some Zelene Doline milk and bake at 175 °C until the crust is a golden brown.
